Case Study – Independent Boarding School, Suffolk

"Edwards & Blake took over from our previous contract caterers in September 2008 and now cater for 650 students (aged from 5 to 18), staff and visitors plus extensive hospitality services.  They have increased the quality of food on offer by bringing in fresh ingredients and re-designing menus. Food is sourced locally and there is a wide choice of food including a delicious and healthy selection of main meals, cold deli, salad bar and puddings. We are delighted to report that since they came on board the school has received only positive feedback regarding food choice and quality from the student forum.

Edwards & Blake will be project managing a new Paddy & Scotts Café at the school from September, which will be a dedicated eaterie for our 6th form students, staff, and parents visiting the school. The Café will bring a high street range of ‘grab & go’ snacks, salads, soups and pastries alongside a barista coffee selection.

Edwards & Blake take into consideration food allergies, intolerances and dietary preferences in menu design and have worked closely with the students across all age groups every term to ensure the food is tailored to the needs of the school. 

They also provide a top quality service at all our external and hospitality events and during the holidays for groups that rent the school’s facilities.  As caterers they show a continuity of quality which has led us to recommend them to two other schools and the renewal of our contract for a further 6 years”
